'ancient jewelry’
2011 Spring & Summer
This is a collection inspired by the ancient jewelry that has been around since long ago, as adornment representing ethnicity and class, or religious meaning.
We focused on the ‘granulation’ technique used in the accessories left by the Etruscans in Tuscany, Italy. The rose-cut diamonds, which generate a soft and gentle light, are pavé-set and combined with granulation to create a unique look. Reminiscent of the buttons and cufflinks used in ancient jewelry, the design is exotic yet sophisticated. This collection reflects the aesthetics of the ancient world.
